Privacy policy

Last updated: August 28, 2026

Doodlekin is a private drawing companion for families. Privacy is part of the idea itself: the app should help you start drawing, not collect more information than it needs. Doodlekin is operated by Code by Bleckert AB in Stockholm. This policy explains what information we process and why.

What we collect

Account information. Your name, email address, and a hashed password. If you sign in with Apple, we receive the name and email address Apple shares with us. We also store information about your household, the people you invite, and profiles you create for family members.

What you create. Photos, drawing ideas, drawings, descriptions, saved items, profile pictures, and the doodles Doodlekin creates for you. Content in a household is visible to people who belong to that household.

Technical information. Device and push-notification details, sign-in information, and ordinary server logs needed to keep the service secure and working. We do not use advertising tools or behavioural tracking for ads.

How we use information

We use information to create and show your content, keep the household in sync, send important account and push notifications, and provide support. We also use it to detect misuse, troubleshoot problems, and improve Doodlekin’s reliability.

Some features use AI, for example when a photo or an idea becomes a simple drawing reference or when you ask Doodlekin to create a profile picture. The content needed to create the result is then sent to an AI provider. Do not send sensitive information that is not needed for the image or drawing idea.

When information is shared

We do not sell your information or show ads. Information is shared only with the people you choose to include in your household and with providers needed to operate Doodlekin, such as hosting, email, push notification, file storage, and AI-processing providers.

If you choose Gravatar as your profile picture, a hash of your email address is used to retrieve the image from Gravatar. You can instead choose initials, upload your own image, or create one with Doodlekin.

Storage and your rights

Deleting a doodle permanently removes its source photo, generated reference, and any family drawings attached to it. Deleting an individual family drawing leaves its reference in place. A private-media link that was already issued can remain usable for up to five minutes after deletion.

We keep information for as long as it is needed for your account and the service. You can change your profile details and delete content in the app. To request a copy of your information or delete your account and associated personal data, email hola@tobiasbleckert.se . Some information may need to remain for a limited time in backups or where required by law.

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have rights under the GDPR, including rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, and objection to certain processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection.

Children and families

Doodlekin is made for use in families, but an adult must create and manage the account. Only upload photos of children or other people when you have the right to do so and when the image is needed for the feature you are using.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update the date above and provide notice where appropriate. Questions about privacy can be sent to hola@tobiasbleckert.se .
